I want to know what happens if one does not pray? and what happens if one does pray but accidentally misses a prayer, does it mean that the person has to make it up, if so what are the procedures? What if you work in an environment that does not provide any room or privacy to pray in, is it okay to pray the missed prayer at home? Please enlighten me because this issue is on mind.

wa `alaykum salam,
To intentionally miss a regular daily prayer is not an option in Islam. But, if one accidentally missed one’s prayer through sleep, forgetfulness, or being prevented, one should pray it as soon as one wakes up or remembers it. One will need to make up the fard portion of a prayer missed (at the appointed time) as soon as possible.
