Allah bless you all for creating this website.
Last night I had a dream about Maulana Sheikh Nazim Efendi (may Allah bless them with long and healthy life). There were lots of people around and Maulana was very happy. They were very affectionate to my 5 year old daughter who loves Maulana alot.
After a while Maulana saw some people come out of a car and said to me- these are my old Mureeds but they do not take notice of what I say anymore. Maulana then put their head on my shoulder and began to cry.
Please can you let me know what this means as i am really distressed and anxious to see Maulana like this. Jazak Allah
Interpretation:
wa alaykum salam,
This dream illustrates the reality that most mureeds of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim are not in tariqah to purify their lower selves but are happy with their station and self-satisfied at being with our Sultan. As Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani says, while that is ok, and they will be granted that blessing in this life and the next, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s true teaching is to work on the self and to advance and progress in tariqah, not be satisfied with titles and names. Crying on your shoulder means find one who is carrying and transmitting the details and specialties of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s way in order to make more progress. Each tear of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim represents one mureed, whom he is purifying and bringing to a high station, regardless of his or her `amal.
