Dream:
On wed, I dreamt Im in Africa. I look for sufis. I find gathering. I do hadrah, I happily cry. I go in room where Mowlana Sheikh Nazim is sitting. I run towards him. I say Im happy to meet him and I love him. I say I am horrible person who says evil things against Allah SWT (Astaghfirullah). He looks at me lovingly and says that Im Ok. I say I must double my zikar. Mowlana places his hand on my head/ heart.
On Thurs, I dreamt I am hosting party. I feel irritated because food is not ready. Cousin’s maid asks where she can feed cousin. I open door. Maid clumsily hits cousin’s head on wall, cousin starts bleeding. I scream, call all family members. My deceased mother is crying and blames herself. I place my hand on her mouth since I know it’s not her fault.
Interpretation:
wa ‘alaykum salam,
That is a wonderul dream, mabruk. Seeing yourself in Africa doing hadrah indicates a return to fitrah an to the state of servanthood to Allah swt, after, as defeating the false part of your ego which declares its disbelief incessantly. As Mawlana said, “You are alright” means due to your connection with him and his raising you to his station, as he has promised to do, but help him by redoubling your effort in the spiritual discipline.
Seeing the disturbing party and your deceased mother, means you and your family must not blame mother for their problems, as is the norm in the West today. Rather realize mother is the one who bore your problems and conceit and your bad character and kept praying for you, and that saved you, for the mother’s du`a is oft-answered.
