Dream:
Dear Shaykh Assalamu alaykum,
In real life I am still single, but in a dream I am seated in my living room on a chair and know that I am pregnant. My mother who is away from me and on the right is telling me to abort my pregnancy. In response to this, I get up and move to the left.
In real life I have been in love with a man, who may or may not have had intimate relations with my mother. I want to marry him somehow, but my mother won’t let me marry anyone.

wa `alaykum salam,
The pregnancy here shows a difficulty which is you marrying that man. Anyone married to your mother previously is a mahram for you, and you cannot marry him. Abort the pregnancy means drop that idea because it will bring you pain and difficulty. Your mother cannot prevent you from marrying in general as it is a command of Allah Almighty to marry, so try to find someone suitable for marriage. In sha Allah your mother will eventually accept your marriage. And Allah knows best.
