Dream:
Salaam dear Brother/Sister.
A few weeks ago I had a dream where I and a class mate called [private] were running away from this black ghost/spirit which was chasing us. I was following my friend as she was running in front of me. I felt I had got away from it and it won’t be able to catch me now but then suddenly I turned around and started walking towards it. To this it came inside my body. Later I was sitting on the dining table with a few friends but I didn’t want to speak to them. Instead I was talking to the thing inside me. I was happy to have it inside me and I personalised it to me as my best friend or something and I remember giving it a name. What does it mean?

It means your spirituality, represented by Sayyida `Ayesha and Sayyida Zainab, who are the Mothers of the Believers, is afraid of your ‘dark side’ which is your nafs, boiling anger, jealousy etc. characteristics which are negative and overwhelming you at times. Leave that dark character by first taking the hand of a guiding murshid (Pir/Shaykh).
