Dream:
As-Salamu Alaikum wb wb,
I had a dream awhile ago that I had a bright light in my belly. I gave a little bit to all my family and all who I know. Then I held my hand back a little when giving it to someone, as I wanted to keep some for myself. The light went dim so I gave it all away until I had none left. Then I got an even brighter light in my mid-torso that was brighter than the last one. I kept giving it away for a brighter one.
Also, sometimes I get thoughts during the day which are not dreams. Some are good some are not. What do they mean? Is it my imagination nafs? Sorry for asking and forgive me if I’m wrong asking that but I don’t want to get it wrong.
Interpretation:
wa `alaykum salam,
The light in your belly is that of guidance and faith. By sharing it with others you strengthen your own faith, by keeping it to yourself you weaken your own faith. Allah said: “Let others know about Your Lord’s favors to you“.
We all have good and bad thoughts. Thank Allah for good inspirations and try to act on them if you can. As for bad thoughts say “A`udhu Billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajim” and try never to act on them.
