Dream:
As-Salam Ailakum
I had a very interesting dream the other day and I was wondering if I could get an interpretation. I fell asleep during the dhuhr between classes in my dorm at college. In my dream, I remember being in a mosque and seeing many women circumambulating in the mosque like they do around the kaaba. They were circumambulating clockwise. I saw them and felt I had to join them but in the outer circle not with them. Furthermore, I felt i needed to circumambulate counter clock-wise because it would be wrong to go in the same direction as the women. So i started to do tawaf and i was the only male doing it. The women doing tawaf the other way facing me were all staring at me. They all were surprised as to what i was doing.
Interpretation:
wa `alaykum salam,
This dream reflects what the Prophet (s) said:
The buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daws will again sway in circumambulation (tawaf) around the idol Dhu ‘l-Khalasah. Dhu ‘l-Khalasah was the idol of the Daus tribe which they used to worship in the Pre Islamic Period of ignorance (Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 88, Number 232)
This shows that shortly preceding Judgment Day people will revert to complete jahiliyyah, ignorance, as in the Era of Ignorance prior to the advent of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), and Allah knows best.
