Dream:
I dreamt I was in Mecca standing in courtyard in Masjid al-Haram. I was standing on side of courtyard and saw a man about mediumheight wearing brown robes and I knew instantly it was our Nabi (saw). He hardly spoke but stood next to me. I saw four of his wives and one was Sayyidina Ayesha (ra). She was the only one who was talking to me. In courtyard there was flood and no one could go across but a lady with two children wanted to go across and Sayyidina Ayesha (ra) told her not to go, to wait till the flood is over but the woman insisting to go and she went in water with her two children and safely came out. Then I saw that woman was me (I’m divorced with two daughters) and I was standing in large green garden looking at clear blue sky. I then woke up just before fajr salaah.
Interpretation:
Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:
Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,
About seeing Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in dreams, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham has said:
You will be relieved from seven difficulties in dunya and in akhirah. Also, Imam Suyuti (r) said that if you see the Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in your dream, you will see him in reality before you leave dunya!
Not following Sayida Ayesha’s (raḍiy-Allāhu ‘anha) advice in the dream shows that you need to improve your faith in your shaykh’s guidance (or take baya with a murshid if it is not done yet) even though the green garden represents paradises and heavenly knowledges that will be granted to you, inshaAllah, and Allah knows best.
