Question:
As Salam wa Aleikum eShaykh staff.
I had a dream last night where I drank alcohol.
I read some older posts with the same kind of dream and noticed that drinking alcohol in the dream means earning my provision in a illicit way. I couldn’t think of any illicit way I’m earning my money.
I’m a musician and I write soundtracks for commercials. I don’t have any other income other than writing soundtracks. Once I talked to MSH and he said I should keep my job because it was given to me by Allah.
I have my home bills to pay and sometimes I don’t have enough money to pay, so I have some debts to resolve.
1 – What could this dream mean?
2 – How can I resolve that situation if I don’t know what I’m doing wrong?

Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥī:
Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,
Drinking in a dream shows that you need to purify your wealth by giving sadaqa.
Mawlana shaykh always mentions about the importance of giving sadaqa to clean our sustenance, especially in this time of akhira zaman where haram and halal are so mixed together.
No one is free from it and everyone is trying is best to live in a 100% halal way and environment but we need to take the advice of our shaykh by paying sadaqa daily even if it is a small amount. And Allah knows best.
