I would like to ask you regarding the dream I saw few nights ago. I saw my brother and I came close to Ala-Hazrat’s (Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Barelwi RA) shrine. There were children playing outside the shrine and we apparently tear one or two of the children clothes (but I don’t remember we actually did this to them). These children were friendly and informed us about our action, and we smilingly apologize. Soon after, few men around the shrine gave my brother the holy water to drink and later he gifted me the bottle. Can you please let me know what this actually means? Thanks

Wa `alaykum salam,
Tearing innocents’ clothes means breaking the Shari`ah. It means you acknowledged your sins and repented and then awliya gave you to drink from the Water of Life, which will purify you to their level, and Allah knows best.
