Dream:
Salaam U laykum
A dream: An eagle flew down from the sky toward me, I was standing on a desert surrounding. As it came closer it changed into a beautiful large human being with large wings. It landed and looked at me and then started to lift it’s hands and began to recite Fatiha. More in the dream happened but I don’t remember.

Interpretation:
The eagle is a symbol of Sayyidina al-Mahdi (as) and his landing in the desert represents his appearance (izhhar) in dunya, which is empty of any value, as today there nothing is left of spirituality, there is only the ‘desert’ of dunya living. Landing signifies the appearance of Sayyidina `Isa (as) who will come down from heavens at the white minaret in Damascus, as predicted in the hadith of the Prophet (s), as we know from our Grandshaykh that Sayyidina al-Mahdi (as) is a very large man. Raising his hands in Fatiha shows he is the possessor of the power of “opening” and salvation, for he, as descendant of the Prophet (s) who has been tasked with restoring the Sunnah of the Prophet (s) has been granted the answer to his du`a.
