Dream:
Asalaam Alaikum,
I recently had a dream in which I saw the grim reaper at the end of a bed that I was lying in, then I turned to my left side and closed my eyes. As I closed my eyes a weird sensation and feeling overtook me and in my mind I was thinking this is what it feels like to die, but after a while I realised I was still alive. I cannot remember the rest of the dream but this is what really was very vivid because I feel I can still remember the sensation I felt in the dream whilst I am awake. I saw a picture of the grim reaper during the day so I do not know if it was because of that it came in my dream.

Remembering death is sunnah. Try to keep this experience as a reminder of your ultimate end and to keep the advice of Sayyidina ‘Ali: “Do for your dunya as if you are going to live forever, and do for your akhira as if you will die tomorrow.” And Allah knows best.
