Dream: Four Moons

Dream:

Beloved Sayyidi,

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmathullahi Wa Barkatahu.

One of my friends saw this dream a week back and the time was just before Fajr prayers.

In his dream he saw four (4) full moons in the sky and was wondering as to how is this possible and then somebody told him that this phenomena occurs at times.

With this he woke up and couldnt understand what this dream is all about. He told this dream only to me and wanted me to find interpretation of this dream.

Ya Sayyidi, kindly guide me and my friend as to what does this dream mean and any special advise for him.

Pray for us.

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmathullahi Wa Barkatahu

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh,

It is related in Dala’il al-Khayrat:

`A’isha, may Allah be pleased with her, said, “I dreamt that three moons fell into my lap. I told Abu Bakr about my dream and he said to me, ‘ `A’isha, three will be buried in your room. They are the best of the people of the earth.’ When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, died and was buried in my room, Abu Bakr said to me, ‘This is one of your moons, and he is the best of them, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.'”

In the dream the four moons represent the four rightly guided caliphs (khulafa ar-rashidoon) of the Prophet (s) and as you were told their appearance altogether is something unusual. That dream heralds the advent of Sayyidina al-Mahdi (s) who is the last khalifa of Rasulullah (s) and the one to implement Shari`ah and establish the Sunnah in the Last Days of this Nation and Allah knows best.
