Dream:
Shaykh Nazim was in my home eating food I had prepared in the basement. Shaykh was eating and I began to sweep because it was dusty, and I dropped a vitamin in the sweeping. Shaykh picked it up and was about to eat it, but I did not want Shaykh to eat it because it fell. I tried to stop Shaykh and offered another one instead, but he was too strong and I couldn’t move Shaykh at all. I remember I was sick in real life, and the vitamin and food was something to do with medicine in the dream. I ate something like that that had helped in real life, and I stored black seed oil in the basement and drank it in real life. I woke up before Shaykh could eat the vitamin.
Interpretation:
In a suhbat on September 15, 2009, Shaykh Hisham Kabbani said:
Why did the Prophet (s) give an emphasis on medicine? the Prophet (s) mentioned many verses and hadith about the importance of the human body, how to keep it healthy, is it not?
And one of that he said, “Al-maidatu bayt ad-da, the stomach is the House of Illnesses.” And bayt is ad-dar a house and bayt is also bayt al-qaseed, where Sayyidina `Ali (r), indicated it means “the most focused point”. When the Prophet (s) said, “the stomach is the House of Illnesses” he meant to say the stomach is the focal point of sickness in the body. And it depends on how we eat and what we eat. And he was encouraging Sahaba what they have to eat in order to keep strong and to keep fit. Because if you don’t keep fit you become sick. If you become sick you lose your focus on many issues, because you keep saying, “O I am sick, I am sick, I am sick and then you lose all kind of concentration and you become more and more someone that is frustrated in what he is feeling and then you end up in depression as many people today are doing.
The Prophet (s) in his message was focusing mainly at the beginning on the sciences of the body in order that if you have a fit body you don’t lose your mind. If your body is not fit, then you will be losing your mind. And when you lose your mind you cannot carry out the responsibilities of what the Prophet (s) brought of obligations of what Allah sent and you become a sinful person. Like a drunk person, you tell him to go and pray but he is not going to pray. So when they have problems in health many people lose their minds and when they lose their minds they cannot carry any more of what the Prophet (s) brought of obligations.
And Allah knows best,
