Dream:
I was told about a guy whom I don’t know for marriage.. By chatting with him I came to know he is engaged but befriended him although we tried to stay away. he said he’d be breaking his relationship. With his consent I did istikhara n had a dream :
There was a sacrifice being done n my parents were telling me that I have met that guy n had mint ice cream or milkshake with him n I could see the green n white color. Then there was somebody with pale colored clothes (pink n creme) who apparently was the guy but I couldn’t see his face as he was looking down. My parents were also asking me if I accept to marry him n I could hear surah fajr in the background.

wa `alaykum salam,
The dream is strong indication that this will work out, but as hearing
Suratu ‘l-Fajr indicates, it will be blessed just as the first 10
nights of Dhul-Hijjah (or in some tafsirs Muharram, and in others,
Ramadan), but it will require you to take the difficult path, and
avoid being taghiyy (tyrant), i.e. to wait until his existing engagement
is terminated, after which it would be appropriate to approach him
through your parents, as indicated in the dream. And Allah knows best.
