Dream:
I am looking outside the window at night. I saw a big moon in front of me in the sky, in which name MOHAMMAD was written in Arabic .. What does this mean?… I saw this dream on , probably 25th or 26th of Rajab 2011.

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,
wa `alaykum salam,
The moon symbolizes the Prophet (s) reflecting Allah’s Nur to creation.
وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِيہِنَّ نُورً۬ا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجً۬ا
{“`And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?} Surat Nuh 71:16
يَـٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡڪِتَـٰبِ قَدۡ جَآءَڪُمۡ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمۡ ڪَثِيرً۬ا مِّمَّا ڪُنتُمۡ تُخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡڪِتَـٰبِ وَيَعۡفُواْ عَن ڪَثِيرٍ۬ۚ قَدۡ جَآءَڪُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ نُورٌ۬ وَڪِتَـٰبٌ۬ مُّبِينٌ۬
{O People of the Book! there hath come to you Our Messenger, revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): there hath come to you from Allah a (new) Light and a perspicuous Book.} Surat al-Ma’idah 5:15
Commentators interpret this light as Prophet Muhammad (s). Seeing this dream around the time of Isra’ and Mi`raj is especially blessed.
