What your friend said to you is a sign that witnessing the name of the Beloved, salla Allahu `alayhi wa sallam, on the moon is an act of worship, because that statement “taqabbala Allah minna wa minkum” is only said after an act of worship. So this is a sign that when you look at the moon from now on, you need to imagine and reflect over the beauty of the Prophet, salla Allahu `alayhi wa sallam, and inshaAllah it will be an act of worship.
