Dream:
Salaam,
I dreamt it was Eid day and I was helping kids into a van to go to the masjid for salaat. I ran back inside our house and saw my grandfather – who had been dead for several years in real life – dressed in white shalwar kameez, finishing up a prayer in jamaat. He stood and folded his rug, smiling. My dream self knew somehow that he was dead, but also saw him standing there, and I ran to him and hugged him hard and was just sobbing. He laughed and rubbed my back and said, “Beta, why are you crying? There’s nothing to cry about. Everything is fine.” I woke up from the dream, and found I was still crying.

Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:
Alaykum Salam,
Alhamdulillah, a sign of your grandfather’s good position in barzakh, the isthmus life between dunya and akhira. Seeing him in your dream shows that his soul is free. And Allah knows best.
