Dream:
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
I reverted to Islam in 2005 and took baya’t in 2008. As revert, I regularly made dua that Allah would increase my love and knowledge of Sayiduna Rasool’Allah (SAW) During Ramadaan also 2008, after offering my fajr salaat I was still on my prayer mat making dua, my eyes closed but I was not asleep. I was awake and making supplication to Allah Almighty. After some minutes picture started to form (behind my eyelids??) A circular door\entrance opened up and it was like I was looking into another dimension. It was hazy\misty. A silhouette of a Man appeared, I could not see detail of His face. First He was facing me then He turned His back like to walk away. Without realising it started to audibly call out and cry “Meded! Meded Ya Rasool’Allah (SAw), please don’t leave me!!” He stopped and looked back over His(SAW)’s right shoulder and with His (SAW) right hand stretched out towards me, He (SAW) gestured me to come and follow Him(SAW). I was relieved and at peace. The “vision” then ended and the circular doorway closed. When I opened my eyes, I was still on the prayer mat, shaking, with tears streaming down my face. Insha’Allah, please can Shaykh explain this to me. Jazak’Allah!
Interpretation:
wa alaykum salam,
This is a waking vision, and alhamdulillah it is good tidings to you. To see the Prophet (s) in a waking state is something that everyone is hoping for. Turning his back to you and stretching his hand to you means “follow me, follow my sunnah.”
