Dream: Strange Shahada and Surah

Dream:

I dreamt yesterday, [private], at 11pm that I was in a mosque that I did not know. Some people wanted someone to read a surah that they could not read. I came and I wanted to start reading but they stopped me and said : “You must enter in Islam the way the Sufis do.” then came from upstairs several men all in red. so I repeated the Shahada, but it was a strange Shahada. there were much more beautiful words about Allah’s attributes (He is the Reality, etc.). when I finished, these men leave. Then I said : ‘aouzoubiLLahi mina chaytani rajim, bismiLLahi rahman rahim‘ and I read surah number 110 (an-Nasr). in some books, I saw that I’m supposed to die. can you interpret it ? I do not afraid of death if Allah’s is satisfied. (sorry .. I’m French!)

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-l lāhi r-rahmāni r-rahīm

Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakatuh

Entering a masjid in dream means you are entering Ka’abatullah, the House of Allah in your heart. Your dream means that following the Sufi Way will enable you to know your Lord and be dressed by His Beautiful Names and Attributes. It shows also that you will be successful in this way and be blessed to be from those who will die before they die like Sayyidina Abubakr As-Siddiq (raḍiy-Allāhu ‘anhu).

And Allah knows best,

Wissam
