Dream:
Audhu billahi mina shaytan ir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim,
Asalaamwale kum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu dear beloved Mawlana Shaykh Hisham,
May you and your family be in the best of imaan, happiness and health, Insha’Allah.
Insha’Allah I hope that you can interpret a dream for me. I do not dream of our beloved Sultan ul Awliya much but I had a dream the other morning. In the dream, I was sitting in my bedroom and I think I saw or at least had his presence or voice of our beloved Sultan saying that I should write down two foods that I eat everyday. He then left and for the rest of the dream I was trying to note down one of the two foods we would eat in our house. In life we try and make small dishes that Al-Hamdulillah can last several days.

Interpretation:
wa `alaykum salam,
Writing in dream indicates the obtainment of power for yourself and the food similarly indicates the transmission of a spiritual secret to yourself on the part of Mawlana Shaykh who is informing you of this, and at whose table such gifts are constantly given, thus he likes for his Murids to observe the best adab and gratitude with food as you do in conformity with the models of Sayyidina Muhammad and Sayyidina Ibrahim (upon them blessings and peace). Allah Most High said in Surat Ibrahim:
{If you give thanks I will surely increase} (14:7).
