I had a dream where I saw a Sufi sheikh walking on water. He then taught me the same and though I was initially tentative I also managed to walk on water. Could you explain what the meaning of this is.

Answer:
Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm
Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh
It means that if you put your hands in the hands of a real Murshid and submit to his will completely you will reach the presence of Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and dress by his mercy. If you don’t have a Shaykh, you may take baya here.
