Jan 2011 Asked Maulana for a name for my daughter however my wife had already left me and also had taken steps for divorce, which I found out later Maulana told me to be patient and to keep her, for a year. By Allah the Islamic divorce she issued me got cancelled however the civil divorce has now been granted.
What do I do about my daughter? Do I pursue legal contact order? I have now received photos as I did not even know what she looked like. And about the name? These are Haqq?
Dua to make easy what has been a difficult time for me and no doubt for my wife as I feel her family pressured her into the divorce. Wife could have stopped the action at any point regardless of my attempts of asking for mediation and counseling. Your duas please

Ramadan is a good time for conciliation. Reach out to your ex-wife with the intention of being part of your daughter’s life but don’t threaten or mention legal action. If you have any mutual acquaintance who can assist in the discussion that would be good.
