Custody Battle for my Children

Question:

Salam Dear E shaykh Team

I divorced nearly 2 years ago. I am currently in the process of starting a court procedure to take custody of my 2 young sons. Reason being their mother is alientating the children from me and filling negative thoughts in their young minds, whilst lacking teaching them basic Islam. I would like them to grow up as good muslims and not surrounded by bollywood and negativity. Please could you provide me with a wazifah/duah to read so I get success in my aim Insh Allah and plz could Mawlana pray for me and my sons.

JzkAllah

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim and Mawlana Shaykh Hisham never recommend going to court unless it is absolutely essential. The “system” will drain you, the lawyers will become rich, you will end up with great enmity to your “ex” and you will not get what you want anyway.  Place the matter in Allah’s hands and ask Him that your “ex” come around to a better approach. Meanwhile when you have time with your sons, teach them all the good manners and knowledge you can.
