I want to marry a white non-muslim who is willing to convert. my mom said if i do this she will cut all family ties with me. I would like to explain my situation further. I am a pakistani born muslim and i do not want to marry anyone else.
Answer:
Ask Allah earnestly to fill your heart with love and patience towards your parents. Ask your proposed marriage partner to shoulder the burden of his proposal by:
(i) taking shahada which will give him clarity and open all sorts of the best worldly and spiritual avenues, some time after which he may
(ii) step forward and introduce himself to your father with the help of an able and helpful relative of yours.
Then follow whatever course Allah chooses for you.
