I was informed from my brother that he was told we belong to Hassani lineage.would be a pleasure to be from that blessed lineage. But not sure if there could be a mistake on him hearing this? how to confirm?

Once the pleasure fades away and is replaced by tears, near-crushing responsibility, fear of Allah, constant duaa not to die except as a Muslim, helplessness with all the dunya, despair in oneself and unconditional hope for mercy for oneself and the Ummah, increased practice night and day, sadaqa, dhikr, better company in public and in private, etc. then such as these are confirmations.
