Question:
ASLAM_O_ALIKUM,
I am a Muslim 25 years old & a doctor. I am deeply in love with my class mate. He is very pure and truthful to me. Unfortunately he is a H indu. (he is very clean, truthful, respect his parents, respect ladies, respect GOD, simple and soft). I told him to convert to marry, but he needs time to settle (at least 2 years) so he can take step towards Islam, can support me & himself (he is dependant on father). The problem is my parents already have fixed my marrige with a guy in family without asking me. I cannot betray my parents nor I can leave my friend. I am so stressed spending all my days in praying. I cannot accept that guy, who my parents want me to get married with. I want to wait for my friend to convert. I am praying that he might convert, and I am sure if he will convert he will stick to it.
What should I do in this condition?
