Assalaamualaikum ya Seyyidi,
I made dua over a long time for guidance as to whether I should continue speaking to my cousin (we love each other). She was blackmailed into getting engaged with a man everyone knew was going to oppress her. In my dream I was constructing a gate and blessed Prophet(saw) told me constructing the gate is trouble (as far as I remember). I asked eShakh about the dream but I know it’s difficult to reply early. I assumed I should keep talking to her (please forgive my adab). Now she is free from that man, we are in love, her mother has approved, and my cousin wants me to talk to her father.
My father hates her family due to mistakes they made in the past, and is refusing to forgive them though they changed.
What should I do Seyyidi? Was my assumption wrong?
