Question:
Assalam-o- Alaikum,
Dear respected Mashaykh, recently my husband divorced me by giving me talaq 3X in one go over the phone. He wanted to divorce me because I cannot have children and he knew I could not concieve before he married me. He claimed that he had to divorce me because he had this negative pressure to let me go and because he saw Maulana Shaykh Nazim in his dream.
What does our tariqah say about divorce like this in one sitting? Is it permissible and valid?
Please pray that Allah swt gives me strength to move on from this tribulation as I am feeling very weak emotionally and physically.
I feel betrayed because I was very honest with him before he married me regarding my situation and inability to concieve.

`Alaykum Salam,
Mawlana detests injustice, he forbids talaq without good cause and he cautions against haste in such matters. Nor does a dream count regarding the obligation of seeking permission before talaq. However, since it is done, what remains possible is for him to remarry you even as a second wife. This is done treating this triple phone talaq as a single talaq as I have seen Dr. Wahba al Zuhayli and Shaykh Adib Kallas apply it in Sham with similar cases, reluctantly and as a last resort based on the fatwa of Ibn Taymiyya.
