Asalamalekom,
I have been in a relationship with a man for 5 yrs. Last year he went back to our home country and he started getting pressured in marrying. He was told by his father that he has to marry sommeone within the family and I am not in any way related to him except that we are both Muslims and we are from the same country. He starting to talk to girl from his family. Could you please to istikhar to see we are good for each other and if not can you recommand dua so that I can cool my heart and mind on him with the help of god?

You have been together for 5 years so he is more than ripe for you even though you know that in Islam relationship follows marriage, it does not precede it. If he is not ready to marry you right away then move on and ask Allah for a halal union. Allah will send you a blessed husband in sha Allah. Say Astaghfirullah and recite daily Ya Fattah, Ya Karim, Ya Hafeez x100.
