My husband has been an addict for a long time. I know that divorce is disliked by Allah although it is halal. I need to know whether or not I should seek divorce. He doesn’t support me financially and I feel he doesn’t want to change.

One of the reasons for seeking divorce may be even this – if husband told his wife before marriage that he did not consume alcohol for example, or drugs and she discovers after marriage that he is alcoholic or drug addict.
