I fell in love with a girl who was with an oppressive man who says that he loves her. She was not married nor engaged. She also fell in love with me. Neither of us intended this. As she found much comfort from me, she was confident I would inshaAllah be a better a husband for her.
However he blackmailed her family with a suicide threat. She is forcing herself to marry him to save him from unnecessary torment in the hereafter but giving me up is taking a toll on her mental and physical health. As a desperate attempt to make her feel better I asked her and she agreed to take baya with Sheikh Nazim. But I don’t feel that I am ready to let go as I still love her. She is pious ya sheyyidi.
Please advise us on what to do seyyidi.
