As she says to imam of masjid that i am a divorcee while she has not taken divorce from her husband and does second nikah while her first marriage with a Christian continues..he even does not know that she has become Muslim..can this marriage be valid ???
Answer:
If she is or has become Muslim then any standing marriage with a non-Muslim husband is automatically invalidated in the Sharia, which makes a subsequent nikah contract valid.
