ASA Last few years have been hard. I got married not informing my parents. We tried to convince them but it was hard as they live in Indonesia & my wife grew up here in Germany. Now my parents are unaware that I am living with my spouse. I would like to involve them in my family life since we have a baby girl & it’s hard now. I would like her to grow with the only grandparents she has. I can’t leave family to go there. I have no one to speak & reason to them on my behalf. I want to write them a detailed letter. I am humbly requesting your advise if I should go ahead or just wait for a better solution.
Please pray for us that Allah swt put rahma in our hearts & we can be united as a family under Mawlana’s hand.
Answer:
Your marriage is valid even though your parents might not be pleased with your decision. But, it is better to seek their advice concerning your marriage. We advise you to contact your parents informing them of their grandchild.
