Assalam u alayekum ya sayyidi Sheikh Hisham
What is the importance of beard in Islam? Would those facing their faces be punished for that act on doomsday?
I intended to keep beard in the past but my mother tells me to get my face shaved,what should i do if same thing happens again in future?Should i obey her or not in this matter?

`Alaykum as-salam,
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim orders men to grow their beards and in the Religion he is our parent in Akhirah. This is the order of Rasulullah, upon him blessings and peace, our Uswatul Hasanah as Holy Qur’an says, and it was taken to heart by the totality of the Sahaba and the rest of the Awliya and `Ulama; so we should put everything in its proper place and from Allah is all success.
