We live in the city with a cat. I think it’s against the law to bury an animal (they have to cremate it). If forced to cremate,will I answer to it on Judgement Day? Should I break the law and go to the forest? How should an animal be buried?
Answer:
There is no religious ruling regarding cherishing your pets when they die. Due to a lack of disposal options in urban areas, many people end up throwing dead pets in the rubbish bin or taking them to the vet for cremation. If there is any possibility to bury them it is better than to cremate. In this way the corpse would not be harmful to other people due to the decaying and decomposing of the animal.
