Can interest based debt be justified to prevent losses to the lender?

Question:

If a person lend, for example, $1 million to someone and was repaid in 10 years, the value of $1 million would have significantly fallen over those years due to rising inflation, incurring value loss to the lender. So how the loss can be avoided?

Answer:

An interest-free loan is repaid without interest regardless. And a loan with interest is haram regardless.
