I was involved in an accident previous years and getting compensation money. I was wondering is the compensation money halal money to use ? Can I use that money to fund into a Mawlid event ?

The contemporary scholars of Islam are of the opinion that the party at fault will be responsible for any loss caused to the other party in a car accident. Compensation money can be used to fund into a Mawlid
program.
