Asalaam,
If an abortion has taken place between 5-7 weeks of pregnancy due to being lead astray what can one do to repent and compensate for such a massive sin (recitation) etc? What can one do for the release of soul if there was one ie giving blood or sadaqa and how much? How does one know if Allah has accepted the repentance and forgave the person or not? – will the person ever be forgiven especially when meeting with his/her Lord.

Allah Almighty says: “Say: ‘O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Az-Zumar: 53) He Almighty also says: “Allah accepts the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in mercy: For Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.” (An-Nisa’: 17)
