Question:
asSalamu Aleikum
A Christian man who hunts ducks or turkey depending on the season is offering me some of his meat. Is it halal for me to eat this meat?
I read in one of Mawlana’s old books that Grandsheikh use to say when you are not sure if the meat is halal you can recite shahada 3 times and do 70 astagfurallah and eat. Can I use this even with meat I buy from the supermarket?
Answer:
wa `alaykum salam,
