Dear Sheikh,
I am a Naqshbandi and I love Mawlana Shekh Nazim, but I have so many questions that confuse me. I have been raised to take only proofs from Quran, Sunnah, and Fiqh about the validity of anything related to religion…Despite my love to Mawlana, there are continuous nagging questions in my mind unanswered about Tareeqa. I know from hadith the importance of Baya‘ for example so I gave Baya‘ to Mawlana whole heartedly..But I don’t know anything from Sunnah about
1-Tawiz for example
2-and about kissing hands,
3-and about doing zikr in a group like we do.
4-and abou Awleya ranks like Qotb, Ghawth, Sultan Awleyaa?? Where is that in Sharea’ please?
Can you please help me put my mind at ease regarding having proofs from Shera‘ about these issues please?
