Question:
Assalamoualaikoum
I have a question with regards to the interest that you earn by putting your money in a bank. I understand this is haram to use this money. But I was wondering whether this can be used on special occasions:
1) You live in a world where the system is not Islamic and you have to pay huge amount of taxes and as you know the taxes are wasted mostly by a non-Islamic government. Can you use the interest you earn in bank to pay for taxes such as VAT on buying a car or income tax?
2) Building a toilet with the interest money?
