Can you please guide if we ask someone to select us for a job ie to use reference to get a job in government institutions etc is it ok to do so? Is the money earned from such a job halal or haram. Kindly guide. Thank you

It is halal to seek employment but certain jobs are halal and certain jobs are haram. It depends on the job.
