I always have the desire to eat KFC but as some people say it is haraam and my doubt is not clear.I wanted to know if KFC is halal. The chicken is certified halal. The worldwide recipe is halal or not? Can I eat it?

In order to obtain accurate information I have contacted my friend Dr. Saeed Hayek who works for IFANCA. This is his response:

I always recommend the Muslim consumers to contact the company or restaurant directly, they should provide accurate information.
To the best of my knowledge, KFC in USA does not use Halal certified chicken. KFC in Muslim countries such as Gulf countries, Indonesia, Malaysia, and may other countries sell Halal certified chicken.
