Salam alekum,
I bought year ticket to a swimming pool where both woman and men swim. I live in Norway. Is it haram to swim there?, or can i just buy a shorts wish goes under the knees, and just continue swimming there?
Answer:
All Muslim men and women should learn to swim in case of an emergency and necessity. We should teach our children how to swim at an early age. Swimming should be considered a very private event in the family with a proper bathing suit.
