Question:
Salam,
The doctors have amputated my dads little toe due to gangrene. Please tell me a dua to pray so as to heal the wound and please request Sheikh to do dua for my dad.
Answer:
Alaykum Salam,
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham is praying for you and your father. Recite the last few verses of Surat al-Hashr beginning with “Law anzalna hadha al-Qur’an.” Send salawat on the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) who was injured in his little finger and addressed it saying: “And what are you except a finger that bled in the way of Allah?” In sha Allah He will give him the reward of shahada.
