Is there an Islamic cure or treatment for paranoia?
For a person who has genetic antecedents of paranoia, and who is eating healthy and not taking any medication

wa `alaykum salam,
Recite a lot of tahlil (la ilaha illa Allah) and verse 14:27
يُثَبِّتُ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ
الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ وَيُضِلُّ اللّهُ الظَّالِمِينَ وَيَفْعَلُ
اللّهُ مَا يَشَاء
الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ وَيُضِلُّ اللّهُ الظَّالِمِينَ وَيَفْعَلُ
اللّهُ مَا يَشَاء
which means
“Allah firms up those who believe with the firm saying in this life and in the next, and Allah sends the wrongdoers astray. Allah does what He wills.”
Traditional cure for paranoia (dhu`r) is turunjan or lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), which they call malleesa in Syria. It may be drunk daily as a herbal infusion.As for all ailments, it is highly recommended to give daily sadaqa, even small.
