Question:
As salaam alaykum wa barahkaatahu,
Every time I get the flu, I have severe fatigue for weeks after the flu is over. It gets better with rest and tonic, but even two weeks after the illness, I still lack stamina and need to rest a lot, more than my life really allows. In fact, when it comes on, I can hardly lift my arms at times and am stuck in one place until I’ve rested, even unable to get up for the bathroom
My blood work is normal, and I am resting as much as possible, while taking iron, B-complex and cod liver oil, so is there a recommended fatigue remedy in Islam to try, and is there something I can recite for a quicker recovery?
Jazak Allah Khairun.
Answer:
Alaykum Salam,
Focus on Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (Allah bless his secret) and his lion-like energy, make Salawat. Consider also that the believer’s rest is worship and do not underestimate its work.
