I wanted to find out if performing Wudu with a spray bottle is permissible? I have spoken to a Mufti in the Hanafi Madhab and he said that this is permissible. Please confirm if this ok according to the other 3 madhabs. Maliki, Shafi’i and Hambali.
Answer:
It is permissible in all four schools as long as the water covers the entirety of the limb being washed, and in the Maliki one has to rub it in as well.
