Question:
Sallam alkuim! I have an issue I have tried to resolve but it seems like I cannot, and it is not in my hands anymore, only up to God, but I still am hopeful! Anyways, I always tell my husband to make salah but he lags, he is very lazy, he does not pray for weeks and then he will pray. He avoids prayer, when he knows it’s praying time he does not make the effort to pray. He is not consistent. I make dua for him for Allah (swt) increase his imaan, but I don’t know what else to do! I tell him so much, that when he doesn’t I get very very angry and it has put a dent in our marriage because of the fact that he does not make salah. Please help me, what should I do!!

Continue to pray for him, request him peacefully to pray, and explain to him that his behavior is affecting your marriage. In time in sha Allah he will come to his senses. Say “Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim” over food when preparing it and repeat “Ya Latif” x100 daily. Then leave it to Allah.
